Facebook is launching its 2017 holiday features and we can’t wait! Get your camera ready to snap photos and videos from all of your holiday gatherings and celebrations. There are new effects coming to Facebook Camera on December 15 that will make your holiday posts shine brighter than the star atop your tree.

Another great feature that Facebook is debuting are holiday cards that allow users to send out digital cards to friends and family to wish them Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy Kwanzaa.

And, it’s not just Facebook Camera that’s getting a special boost for the holidays. Messenger Camera and Live video chat are getting in on the action too starting on December 22 and December 23, respectively. With Messenger Camera you can play around with Christmas light frames and Santa and Rudolph filters. Plus, you’ll be able to add some holiday flare to your text status updates.

Beginning December 28, Memories is getting spruced up for the holidays as well, giving you the ability to browse through the top images from friends.

There’s also New Year’s effects for Facebook Camera and Live that will help you kick off 2018 with a bang.
